I ran across a Bishop Fulton Sheen quote the other day. Some of you will remember him. Those of you who don’t should rejoice at your youth. The quote is, “Live each day as you would climb a mountain. An occasional glance toward the summit keeps the goal in mind, but many beautiful scenes are to be observed from each new vantage point. So climb slowly, enjoying each passing moment; and then the view from the summit will serve a more rewarding climax for your journey.”

So take a moment this week to look around and notice the beauty in which you live.
Take the time to thank someone for the gift they bring to your doorstep, for the smiles they put on your face.

Faith formation for our young people is complete for this year. Thanks to Barb Brumm, Beth Hoppel, and Bev Steiger for their ministry and leadership. There are several events upcoming for the celebration of the ending of our Sacred Heart School. You are always welcome and encouraged to join us for Thursday morning Mass (11 a.m.).

Our high school seniors are preparing for graduation and a flight off to all sorts of new beginnings. We are ready to welcome home our college kids for a summer of work and fun.

Blessings and prayers for our farmers as they plant between the spring rains.

As you take pause after your Sunday worship this week, wonder what new view will be yours in the summer coming.
